An honor box depends on people paying on their own, so the location matters more than for almost any other kind of vending. If you're placing them yourself:
- Choose small, stable teams. Workplaces where the same people come in every day do best.
- Stay out of public areas. Staff-only breakrooms reduce losses.
- Set ground rules early. Agree with the manager on what happens if a box keeps coming up short.
- Restock often. Small boxes empty fast.
